The Gurugram Progressive Schools Council organised the XXIV Annual Convention on 25th April 2026, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. at the Leela Ambience, Gurugram.
The Central theme of the conference was: 'Chaitanya-The Awakening: Awaken, Act, Transform - Conscious Education in Action'.
The programme started with the 'Honour March' by the Head Boy and Head Girl of all participating GPSC member schools, followed by the Lamp Lighting Ceremony by the dignitaries.
Session 1 started with the inaugural address by Ms. Ruchi Rai, highlighting the importance of holistic approach for imparting knowledge. She also emphasized that educators should do their best to make their students the best version of themselves. Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, CBSE and Mr. Kartikeyan Sharma, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha emphasized on the fact that India has always been the 'Master of Soul', truly unparalleled in the world.
Other eminent personalities and facilitators discussed various issues and concerns regarding nurturing tomorrow's leaders, conscious education, digital dilemmas and scientific parenting. At the end, there was a Q&A session.
The conference wrapped up on a positive note for shaping a brighter future for every child- from 'Kaushal to Kushal'. Overall, the session was informative.
