The students of Class XI presented an English play titled 'The Arrival of Kalki', on 01 November 2025 in the Kalawati Auditorium, as part of a Special Presentation for their parents.
The play was based on the tenth and the final incarnation of Lord Vishnu, prophesied to appear in the Kali Yuga to restore righteousness and destroy evil.
The event commenced with a brief introduction by the compere, highlighting the significance of Kalki's incarnation as a symbol of hope and renewal.
The programme began with the lighting of the holy lamp by the Chairman of the Gyan Devi Group of Schools. Mrs. Bimlesh, grandmother of Akshay Sehrawat (who played the role of Lord Vishnu) was also called upon to light the holy lamp. A Prayer Dance was performed by the girls. Khushi presented a devotional poem followed by the play.
The play beautifully depicted the moral decline of Society in the Kaliyuga and the birth of Kalki . The performers portrayed the themes of justice, faith and the eternal triumph of good over evil.
The vibrant costumes and rhythmic dance sequences added grandeur to the presentation. The use of lighting and background music enhanced the mythological atmosphere.
The Principal appreciated the students' dedication and creativity, emphasizing on the importance of learning through art and culture.
Refreshments were served to the students and parents.
The function ended with the National Anthem.
