79th Independence Day, 15 August 2025

The 79^th Independence Day was celebrated in our School with great enthusiasm, patriotic fervour, and a deep sense of respect for our nation.

The programme commenced with the Mahamantra- invoking peace, unity and positivity. This was followed by an English thought, inspiring everyone to uphold the values of freedom and responsibility. The Anmol Vichar in Hindi carried a powerful message about sacrifice and patriotism.

The highlight of the morning was the unfurling of the National Flag by Principal Ma’am. This was followed by a March Past, where students marched smartly, displaying discipline and coordination.

Next came an English speech by Preeti of Class XII, highlighting the significance of Independence Day and the role of the youth in nation-building . The Hindi poem by Vinay of Class X, brought out the emotions of pride and gratitude for our freedom fighters. Rishabh of Class V then presented an impressive English speech on Gandhi Ji, highlighting his values and contributions to India’s feedom.

The next event was a patriotic Group Song performed by the students of Classes VI to VIII, which resonated with the spirit of Nationalism. This was followed by an energetic Dumbbells Drill by the students of Classes VI and VII, displaying rhythm, fitness, and teamwork. Students of Classes III to VII then showcased Yoga asanas, symbolising harmony of mind and body.

An inspiring English Poem by Harshita of Class XII, a colourful dance performance by Class VII students and a thought-provoking Nukkad Natak by the students of Class VIII rounded off the function with a strong social message about citizens’ duties toward the Nation.

Principal Ma’am then addressed the gathering, praising  the students for their performances and reminding everyone of their role in protecting the Nation’s freedom. The programme concluded with the National Anthem, sung in union, leaving a sense of pride and togetherness in every heart.
