74th Republic Day cum Sports Day

Our school celebrated the 74th Republic Day cum Sports Day on 27th January, 2023. Students of Classes VI to XII participated in the function with great enthusiasm.

The programme started with the inspection of the Parade by honourable Chairman Sir, who then took the salute during the March Past. After the welcome speech, the cultural programme began with a speech by Mehak of IX A, on the relevance of Republic Day. This was followed by a  melodious, patriotic song by Sabya, VIIIB and Parvika, IX B. Diva, IXA, recited a patriotic Hindi poem. Students of Classes III to VIII put up a beautiful Yoga performance. A graceful dance performance was also put up by students of Classes VIII and IX.

After the cultural programme, the action shifted to the playground, where the sports event were conducted. Student from Class III to VIll showed their skills on roller skates. A few Inter House sports event were then conducted as the culmination of Sports Day i.e. Basketball (Boys) and Tug- of war (Girls and Boys).

The winner of the Sports Trophy for the session 2022-23 was Sfoorti House. It was a proud moment for the teachers and students of Sfoorti House as they lifted the Sports Trophy. Medals and certificates were awarded to all the participants.

When the sports events were over, Chairman Sir addressed the gathering and appreciated the students for their performance. His inspiring talk motivated the students. Principal Ma'am then proposed the vote of Thanks. The programme ended with the rendition of the National Anthem.
