Teachers' Day Celebration 03/09/26 & 5/09/26

The Teachers’ Day celebration at our school was a joyful and meaningful occasion, commemorating the dedication and invaluable contribution of teachers. The first phase of the celebration was held on 3 September 2026, with students taking the lead in organizing a special programme for their teachers. 

The day began with a morning assembly conducted by the teachers. Avani Rana of Class XII A delivered a heartfelt speech, followed by a beautiful poem presented by Vianca and Ekta of Class XII B. A melodious song by the students of Classes XI and XII served as a heartfelt tribute to their mentors. In her address, the School Principal appreciated the students for organising the programme so thoughtfully and reminded everyone that teachers deserve recognition every day for their unwavering dedication. Adding a unique dimension to the celebration, students stepped into the shoes of their teachers as shadow teachers, experiencing firsthand the responsibility, patience, and commitment that teaching demands. The first phase also featured a special morning assembly presented by the students of the Primary Wing, followed by an insightful address by Ms. Rekha, who discussed the teachings and values of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and their relevance to the role of a teacher.

The second phase of the celebration was organised on 5 September 2026 by the School Management. A scrumptious lunch was hosted for the teachers at the school and was graced by the presence of the School Chairman, Capt. J.S. Yadav, Managing Director, Ms. Neena Yadav, and Pro Chairman, Mr. Ashish Yadav. It was a delightful occasion that brought teachers from all the branches together, fostering a strong sense of unity, and appreciation. To add an element of fun and celebration, several engaging activities were organised for the teachers, creating moments of laughter and camaraderie. This was followed by an exciting game of Tambola, in which teachers from all branches participated enthusiastically. 

The celebration reached a special moment with the announcement of the Best Teacher Awards. Ms. Chitra from Gyan Devi Kindergarten, Sector 10; Ms. Sangeeta from Gyan Devi Montessori School, Sector 9; Ms. Darshan and Ms. Debolina from Gyan Devi Public School, Sector 17; and Ms. Seema Kaushik and Ms. Shilpa Yadav from Gyan Devi Senior Secondary School, Sector 10 were honoured for their outstanding contributions to their respective schools. They were recognised for their dedication, innovative teaching practices, and positive impact on the academic and personal growth of their students.

The celebration concluded on an inspiring note with Pro Chairman, Mr. Ashish Yadav, praising the teachers for their dedication and emphasising that, to cater to the upcoming generation, teachers need to continuously up their game and evolve with changing times. He wished them success in their continued journey. This was followed by motivating words from School Chairman, Capt. J.S. Yadav, who appreciated the teachers’ relentless efforts and urged them to continue inspiring young minds and making a meaningful difference in their lives. The celebration was a memorable tribute to the teaching fraternity and beautifully reflected the spirit of gratitude, respect, and togetherness.
