Inter House Competitions 18/07/26

To foster creativity, critical thinking, effective communication, and appreciation for language and literature, the Inter House Competitions were conducted for Classes IX to XII. The event provided students with a platform to showcase their speaking skills, originality, and confidence through English and Hindi competitions.

The English competition, Words of Wisdom, organised for classes XI and XII witnessed one participant from each house expressing their views on different timeless proverbs. The participants interpreted the proverbs thoughtfully, supporting their ideas with relevant examples and personal insights. Their presentations reflected clarity of thought, confidence, and strong public speaking skills. Saanvi Dhiman of Nilgiri House secured the First Position, Maitrey of Vindhya House stood Second, while Anamika of Himalaya House and Vishal of Aravali House shared the Third Position.

The Hindi competition, Ekalaap Pratiyogita, for classes IX and X featured one participant from each house. Students creatively portrayed themselves as a river, a mountain, a bell, or a painting, bringing their chosen characters to life through expressive monologues. The competition highlighted their imagination, acting ability, voice modulation, and command over the language. Rishabh of Aravali House secured the First Position, Jahnavi of Vindhya House stood Second, and Arjun of Nilgiri House bagged the Third Position.

The winners were awarded certificates by the School Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav who congratulated all the participants for their commendable performances. In her address, she encouraged students to continue honing their communication skills, embrace creativity, and participate wholeheartedly in co-curricular activities that contribute to their overall personality development.
