On 6 March 2026, our school had the privilege of welcoming a distinguished delegation comprising Makoto Kanda, CEO of Re-abroad.inc (Japan’s largest study company), Ritu Prasad, Director of OISCA North India, Ranjeet Singh Chauhan, Project Manager at OISCA North India, and Rakesh Behl, who accompanied the delegation as a Japanese interpreter. The main activities of OISCA International focus on community and human resource development, agriculture, and environmental conservation and restoration, with initiatives carried out in different parts of the world.

The programme began with the arrival of the guests, followed by welcome and introductions. The students of Class IX greeted them with a traditional tilak ceremony and the showering of flower petals, reflecting the warmth of Indian culture and hospitality.

After a brief tea interaction, the formal ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp. The guests were then taken on a tour of the school campus, where they interacted with students and observed various learning spaces. They also visited the ‘Best Out of Waste’ exhibition, which included a tie-and-dye booth, colourful paintings, and creative art and craft items made from recycled materials. The delegation later participated in a plantation activity and revisited the previous plantation site from their earlier visit. They also planted new saplings to promote environmental sustainability.

The visit concluded with a token of appreciation presented by the School Chairman, Capt. J.S. Yadav. The interaction proved inspiring for students, fostering creativity, environmental responsibility, and a spirit of international friendship.
