A Special Assembly was organized by the students of Class IV to celebrate the timeless message of kindness and transformation depicted in Ruskin Bond’s story ‘The Blue Umbrella.’
The assembly commenced with a soulful prayer song, setting a serene tone for the morning. This was followed by a delightful enactment portraying Biniya, a young girl from Garhwal, who receives a blue umbrella from a tourist. The act effectively showcased how Ram Bharose, a tea-stall owner, steals the umbrella but is eventually reformed by Biniya’s forgiving nature. A vibrant umbrella dance added charm to the event, while energetic Dumbbells, Lazium, and Hula-hoop performances brought the programme to a lively close.
The School Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav in her motivating address, praised the students’ confidence, creativity, and the values beautifully conveyed through the presentation.
