Gyan Devi Senior Secondary School, Sector 10 proudly organized the Inter School Competition PRATIBHA 2025 under the aegis of GPSC, with an aim to nurture creativity, collaboration, and sportsmanship among Primary Section students (Classes I to V). The event served as a vibrant platform for young learners to display their talents and skills in a competitive yet encouraging environment.
The programme began with a warm welcome address by the School Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the holy lamp. The event was graced by the presence of School Chairman, Capt. J.S. Yadav, Pro Chairman, Mr. Ashish Yadav, and Managing Director, Ms. Neena Yadav. The dignitaries venerated the invited judges with tokens of respect. A melodious prayer song captivated the audience and set a spirited tone for the day. The competition was officially declared open by the School Chairman.
A total of 25 schools enthusiastically participated in this grand event. The competitions were thoughtfully curated to challenge and inspire young minds. Bee Brilliant for Classes I & II focused on building vocabulary, enhancing spelling accuracy, and encouraging confident articulation. Zap the Maths Trap for Class III combined fun with learning as students engaged in logical puzzles and mathematical problem-solving activities that tested their speed and reasoning skills. Rhythms of Virasat, a dance-drama competition for Classes IV & V, beautifully portrayed India's cultural heritage through expressive storytelling, traditional movements, and coordinated performances.
The performances in Rhythms of Virasat were judged by a distinguished panel comprising Dr. Vijay Laxmi Flora, Mr. Sonu Verma, and Mr. Ashutosh Mishra, who were deeply impressed by the talent, energy, and creativity displayed by the young participants.
The winners were felicitated with certificates and mementos, celebrating their hard work and achievements. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by the School Vice Principal, Ms. Arvinder Kaur, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the dignitaries, judges, participants, teachers, and organizing committee. The event concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
