Inter House Competitions 21/07/25

Gyan Devi Senior Secondary School, Sector-10, Gurugram, organized an engaging series of Inter-House Competitions for Classes IX to XII, aiming to promote public speaking, critical thinking, and collaborative learning among senior students.

The English event titled ‘Voices of Legends’ brought history to life as students powerfully recreated iconic speeches delivered by global changemakers such as Martin Luther King Jr., Severn Suzuki, Emma Watson, and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. With captivating stage presence and compelling delivery, participants transported the audience into the moments that shaped history.  Nilgiri House secured the first position with a stirring portrayal of Emma Watson's vision for youth, followed by Himalaya House in the second position and Aravali and Vindhya House in the third position.

The Mathematics Quiz Competition witnessed an intense battle of wits and numbers. With four participants from each house, the quiz comprised rounds on logical reasoning, mental math, and real-life problem-solving. Aravali House demonstrated exceptional analytical skills and emerged victorious, while Himalaya House and Nilgiri House claimed the second and third positions respectively.

The competitions concluded with an inspiring address by the School Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav, who commended the participants for their confidence, preparation, and enthusiasm. She emphasized that such events not only enhance academic and creative abilities but also instill essential life skills such as teamwork, expression, and leadership.
