Earth Day Celebration 22/04/25

Earth Day, celebrated every year on April 22, serves as a global reminder of the importance of environmental protection and sustainability. With this year’s theme ‘Our Power, Our Planet,’ a vibrant celebration was held to inspire students to take active roles in preserving the environment.

Students of Classes III–V celebrated Earth Day with enthusiasm through activities like badge making, poem recitation, paragraph writing, and speeches, promoting awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability.

A special assembly was organized by Class VII C. It featured a heartfelt poem titled ‘A Promise to Earth,’ which reflected the planet's pain and the hope for a greener future. Students conducted a talk show on renewable energy and environmental solutions, leading to a lively and insightful discussion. An uplifting song presented by the students celebrated the beauty of nature and reinforced the need to protect it.

Students and teachers then took a meaningful pledge to adopt eco-friendly practices. The celebration concluded with an inspiring message from the School Principal, Ms Sheena Yadav who emphasized that change begins with each individual and encouraged everyone to be the driving force our planet needs. Saplings were planted in the school premises as a step towards a greener tomorrow.
