Teachers' Day Celebration

Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great warmth and enthusiasm at our school on 05 September 2026, providing a wonderful opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation for the teachers who play an invaluable role in nurturing and guiding young minds.

The day began with a heartwarming celebration at the school, presented by the students of Classes IV and V. The young learners expressed their love and gratitude towards their teachers through a delightful presentation comprising melodious songs, graceful dance performances and a touching poem. Their enthusiastic participation and thoughtful performances brought smiles to the faces of the teachers and set a cheerful tone for the day.

The celebrations continued at Shobhna Auditorium, Gyan Devi Senior Secondary School, Sector 10, where teachers from all the branches of the Gyan Devi Group of Schools came together to celebrate the occasion. The programme was graced by the presence of Honourable Chairman Sir, respected MD Ma’am  and the members of the management , whose presence added significance to the gathering. It was a perfect blend of entertainment, relaxation and togetherness. Each branch added its own charm to the celebration through vibrant song and dance performances, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and camaraderie.

A special highlight of the celebration was the Tambola session, which added excitement and laughter to the gathering and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The occasion also provided a platform to acknowledge and appreciate the exemplary efforts of teachers through the presentation of the Best Teacher Trophy. Selected teachers from the various branches were honoured for their dedication and contribution.

It was a particularly proud moment for our school as Ms. Sangeeta Moitra was honoured with the Best Teacher Award, along with a cheque of ₹5,000, in recognition of her sincere efforts, commitment and contribution to the school.

Addressing the gathering, Pro Chairman Sir highlighted the importance of punctuality, emphasising that this quality is essential not only in our professional lives but also in our personal lives. Honourable Chairman Sir expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all the teachers for their hard work, dedication and continued efforts towards the growth and development of the students and the institution.

The festivities concluded on a delightful note with a scrumptious lunch, giving the teachers an opportunity to relax, interact and enjoy each other’s company.
