Rakshabandhan Celebration – A Celebration of Love, Care and togetherness

Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in our school on 27 August 2026. The celebration brought together our young learners from Nursery, LKG, UKG creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with smiles, warmth and festive cheer.

Dressed in beautiful traditional attire, the children arrived with colourful rakhis and sweets, adding a special charm to the occasion. The little ones joyfully tied rakhis to one another and shared sweets, experiencing the beautiful values of love, care, friendship and togetherness.

A special highlight of the celebration was the Rakhi Making Activity, where the children enthusiastically created colourful and creative rakhis using their imagination and artistic skills. This hands-on activity provided an enjoyable learning experience while allowing the children to express their creativity.

To help the young learners understand the significance of Raksha Bandhan, a short movie based on the festival was also shown. Through this engaging experience, the children learnt that Raksha Bandhan is not merely about tying a sacred thread, but also about caring for, respecting and supporting one another.

The celebration beautifully blended tradition, creativity and experiential learning, making it a joyful and memorable day for our little learners. The colourful rakhis, sweet smiles and happy moments reflected the true spirit of the festival—a bond of love that celebrates care, affection and togetherness.
