Our young innovators made their mark at Mosaic 2026, an inter-school competition organized by The DLF School, Ridge Valley, on 21 August 2026. The event was based on the inspiring theme “Little Hands, Big Green Dreams – Reimagine, Reuse, Recreate.”
The students represented our school and impressed everyone with their creativity and innovative thinking. Their efforts bought immense pride to the school. The duo transformed an assortment of waste and recyclable materials into a charming colourful eco-toy cart. Giving their creation a distinctive cultural identity, they dressed it in a costume inspired by the vibrant Madhubani art of India, incorporating motifs of flowers, leaves, fish, birds, the sun, peacock, and geometric borders. The creation was crafted using materials such as cardboard, waste cloth, wool, wooden shavings, jute, pipes, straw, wood, and ice-cream cups.
The competition offered a wonderful platform for the children to demonstrate that sustainability can be creative, colourful, and inspiring. Their achievement reflected their originality, teamwork, and commitment to turning an imaginative idea into reality.
