With the Tricolour soaring high and patriotic spirit filling the air, our school celebrated Independence Day on 13th August 2026 with immense enthusiasm and pride. The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the freedom earned through courage, determination, and sacrifice, while inspiring the younger generation to become responsible contributors to the nation’s future. The school hall was beautifully adorned in vibrant hues of saffron, white, and green, matching the patriotic attire worn by the teachers.
The programme commenced with a thought-provoking poetry recitation, followed by a vibrant array of cultural performances. Alongside the melodious voices of the school choir, a special performance was delivered by the student band, "Swaraj." In a creative display of sustainability and talent, the band played rhythmic beats using instruments crafted entirely from waste materials. These energetic dance routines, rhythmic musical presentations, and inspiring speeches filled the atmosphere with national pride. Each performance beautifully reflected India's rich cultural heritage, unity in diversity, and indomitable spirit. Overall, the event was a memorable blend of patriotism, innovation, talent, and cultural pride.
The celebration concluded with an inspiring address by the Principal ma’am, who encouraged the students to become responsible and conscientious citizens. She reminded them to cherish their hard-won freedom, uphold national ideals, and understand that building a stronger India requires dedication, responsibility, and selflessness. As a special touch, beautifully crafted Tricolour-themed artworks were distributed to the students.
Adding to the patriotic fervour, the National Flag was proudly hoisted on the school premises on 15th August, accompanied by a stirring rendition of the National Anthem.
