The teachers explained the importance of the green colour, which represents nature, trees, plants, and freshness. They also guided the children on a fun nature walk around the school garden, where they observed green leaves, grass, and flowers up close. Later, the teachers demonstrated sapling plantation, teaching the little ones how to plant and care for baby plants to keep our environment clean and green.
Children brought green-colored food in their lunch boxes and enjoyed refreshing green-colored drinks, which were also offered to Principal Ma'am with great pride.A special selfie point was created for the children on the theme “Shine Green, Keep it Clean“complete with fun green coat props for memorable photos.Many fun games were organized, like colouring, leaf pasting, and identifying green objects. The children also recited rhymes on the green colour with great excitement.
The celebration ended on a high note with a short message from Principal Ma'am: "Let's all promise to love and protect our green earth every day!" In a special token of appreciation on Earth Day, the children presented her with a handmade green earth model.
It was a fun-filled and educational day that helped the children learn about the importance of nature and staying eco-friendly.
