The students cultivated empathy, respect and a sense of unity for their siblings through the Raksha Bandhan celebration that was held in our school premises on 8th August 2025. The virtuous bond of brothers and sisters fostered a sense of camaraderie among the students as they got motivated to make their siblings feel special every single day. A puppet show presented to the students of nursery to UKG made them learn the story of Karnavati and Humayun which highlighted the core of the festival that lies in the tying of a sacred thread- ‘the Rakhi’. The poems recited and the song ‘phoolon ka taaro ka’ sung by them during their assembly brightened the ambience. They took part in drawing and decorating the pious thread.The vibrant colours of ‘rakhi’ and innocent smiles lifted the spirit. The students of class I and II penned down the significance of the festival and ornamented the rakhi which escalated the fervour among them. It was a fun-filled day that conveyed a message of love and happiness.
