On 22nd April, 2025, classes of Nursery, LKG and UKG bloomed in shades of green as we celebrated Green Colour Day with zeal and creativity. The green colour is often associated with vitality, growth, renewal and nature, was beautifully reflected in the cheerful attire and imaginative artworks of our young learners.
Students and teachers were dressed in vibrant shades of green to mark the day. The little ones participated in various fun-filled activities like colouring and hand printing and bitter gourd impression printing. Children participated in clay modelling, where their little hands skillfully shaped the Earth—a symbolic activity to nurture awareness about our planet and its preservation. To deepen their connection with the natural world, students also enjoyed a nature walk. In the spirit of celebration, children recited Green Colour rhymes and songs where their voices echoed the cheerful essence of the day. Teachers enriched the day further by introducing students to a variety of green fruits and vegetables, explaining their names and benefits. To mark the occasion in a refreshing way, a cool green drink was thoughtfully served to the teaching and non-teaching staff—a simple yet meaningful gesture to honour the spirit of Green Day and celebrate nature’s goodness.
