“Christmas is not an external event,
but a piece of one’s home
that one carries in one’s heart.”
Christmas Celebration was organised in our school on 23rd December 2023. A pleasant and happy atmosphere prevailed in the school premises. The interior of the school building was decorated beautifully. The Christmas tree was adorned with colourful lights which caught the eyes of everyone. The celebration started with a poem recited by our toddlers of Nursery who were dressed as snowmen. The poems recited by the students classes L.K.G. , 1 and 2 ushered in a unique warmth and energy to the celebration. The song sung by the young singers of classes 1 and 2 added to the joy and merriment to the festive mood. They told us how every creature welcomed little Jesus Christ in the stable on the day of his birth. Our young dancers tapped their feet gracefully on the tunes of “jingle bells" and wished everyone “a Happy New Year" as well. In the end, we had a surprise visitor: Mr.Santa Clause! The Santa dashed into the hall, catching the students by surprise. The children enjoyed being with Santa. The celebration ended with the inspiring words of our Principal ma'am. Later, our dear Santa visited all the classrooms and sweets were distributed among the students.
